Unfortunately, names escape me. My high school friend Wanda was visiting the school many years ago when our English teacher (Mr. Weiner?) handed her a paper I had written for his class many many years before. He held onto it and wanted to give it to me personally. Because I now live so far away the opportunity looked unlikely. He handed the paper to her and asked if she would deliver it to me. Wow! At the time I was homeschooling and juggling schedules around three elementary schoolers who are all presently teenagers. I remember a school where the teachers who cared stood out, counselors who mattered pushed us to our highest potential, a math teacher who insisted I consider Cornell University as first choice, and classmates who supported each other through physics class...
